The cottages at Sand Valley serve as luxurious and comfortable outposts intimately nestled into the rugged sand barrens and oak savannas that surround them. Located a short distance from the Lodge, our cottages provide a connection to the resort's amenities with the privacy needed to enjoy the serene setting. Offering two cottage types, our 4-bed cottages come equipped with a full kitchen, living room, fire pits and outdoor amenities. Our 8-bed Leopold Cottages sit atop the highest ridge on property overlooking Lake Leopold and feature a large common room and spacious outdoor fire pits providing an ideal way to reconnect. The cottages at Sand Valley are the perfect option for families or groups to getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with the peace and serenity of nature.

“Is golf available in the fall and winter?”
No. All golf courses are closed for the winter. The 2021 golf season begins on April 29.
“Do you allow pets in your rooms?”
Yes. Sand Valley is a dog-friendly resort and we encourage guests who are staying in cottages to bring dogs. Standard fees apply.
“Do you have meal options for kids?”
Yes. We have a limited kids’ menu that is available for dinner.
“Is there access to a sledding hill at the resort?”
Yes.
“Do you rent outdoor winter equipment, such as skis and snowshoes?”
Yes. We have a limited supply of outdoor winter equipment that is available for rental on a first-come, first-serve basis. We also work with local transportation services to provide guest transportation to local ski hills in the area. Transportation is based on availability and should be booked in advance. Please contact our Reservations team for assistance.
“Do you have a business center onsite?”
Yes. We have a small business center available for guests in the fall and winter season. It is located on the second floor of the Lodge. Please contact the Front Desk for access.
“Do you have a fitness center onsite?”
Yes. We have a fitness center located in the lower level of the Lodge. Please contact the Front Desk for access.
“Do you have a spa onsite?”
No. We do not offer a spa at Sand Valley. However, we can schedule in-room massages upon request. Please contact the Front Desk to set up a massage appointment.
“What is your cancellation policy during the Fall & Winter months?
From November - March, a cancellation penalty will not be applied for any cancellations.
