Golf Digest’s new 2019 ranking of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses showcases the country’s best public golf. Both Sand Valley and Mammoth Dunes are newly ranked on this list.
Ranked at No. 18, Sand Valley “has its own personality, with some dual fairways, deep sand pits, perched greens and even a hidden punchbowl putting surface.”
Coming in at No. 27, Mammoth Dunes was designed by David McLay Kidd, who “to retain playability for resort golfers, provided some of the widest fairway corridors in all of American golf.”
